Information we collect

• Account information provided via Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, such as your name, email address, and profile image.
• Usage data, including pages viewed, features used, and interactions with analyses, dashboards, and reports.
• Device and log data, such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and timestamps.
• Push notification tokens and device identifiers, used solely for delivering notifications you have opted in to.
• Browser storage used to keep you signed in and to understand how the Service is used, plus a single cookie recording your region preference.
• A random first-party browser identifier used to understand how the Service is used across visits. If you later sign in or create an account from the same browser, we associate that prior usage with your account (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

How we use information

Sports data sources

We aggregate and analyze sports data from third-party sources to power insights and visualizations. Those providers may have their own policies governing their services and data collection.

AI-generated predictions

SignalOdds uses third-party AI services — including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Perplexity — to generate sports predictions on our servers. These AI services receive only publicly available sports data such as team statistics, schedules, and odds. Your personal information (including your name, email, profile, betting history, and preferences) is never sent to any AI provider. Predictions are generated server-side and delivered to you through the Service.

Analytics and third-party services

Our mobile app uses Firebase Analytics (operated by Google) to collect anonymous usage data such as app opens and feature usage. This data is not linked to your identity and is used solely to improve the Service. You can disable analytics collection in your device settings. On the web, we may use privacy-friendly analytics tools for similar purposes.

Sharing and disclosure

• Service providers that help us operate the Service (hosting, analytics, and support).
• AI service providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity) receive only publicly available sports data for prediction generation — never your personal information. These providers maintain their own privacy policies and provide equivalent protection for any data they process.
• Firebase Analytics (Google) receives anonymous, non-identifying usage data from our mobile app to help us understand and improve the Service.
• Legal, regulatory, or compliance requests where disclosure is required.
• Business transfers such as a merger or acquisition, where permitted by law.
• With your consent or at your direction.

Cookies and analytics

Almost everything we keep on your device is browser storage rather than cookies. Signing in stores an access token and your basic profile in local storage, not in a cookie; your display preferences (such as theme and odds format) are kept there too, and a few short-lived items live in session storage for the current tab. The single cookie we set records the region you select.

Blocking or clearing cookies for this Service generally affects that browser storage as well — browsers commonly treat the two together, and blocking cookies can stop us storing anything at all. Clearing this Service’s site data removes everything we hold on your device, including the identifier described below. Note that doing so signs you out, resets your display preferences, and permanently deletes any arbitrage captures you have saved, which exist only on your device and are not backed up on our servers.

We also store a random identifier in your browser’s local storage to understand how the Service is used across visits. This identifier contains no personal information on its own. If you sign in or create an account from the same browser, we link that identifier to your account so activity from before you signed up can be associated with it — this helps us understand how visitors become members and improve the Service. The identifier is replaced when you sign out, and clearing your browser storage removes it. Activity associated this way is used for product analytics only and is handled under the same retention and deletion rules as the rest of your account data.

Separately from any preference you set, we record an approximate country — a two-letter country code and nothing more precise — derived from your IP address by our network provider, Cloudflare. For signed-in users we store one entry per day for each platform you use — the website, the iOS app, or the Android app. Using two of them on the same day creates two entries; using several browsers or devices on the same platform still creates only one. Each entry is associated with your account, so we can understand which countries our audience comes from. We never store your IP address alongside it, we do not collect street-level, GPS or any other precise location data, and we do not use this to decide what you can access or what you pay. Your browser or the app also keeps the most recent value on your device under so_observed_country so it does not have to be looked up every time. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding our audience (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) / UK GDPR equivalent). These daily entries are retained for as long as your account exists and are deleted when you delete your account; see Your choices below for your full data-subject rights.

If you select a country from the region chip in the header, we set a first-party so_country cookie on your device (valid one year, automatically refreshed each time you make a new selection) so we remember your preference on future visits. The cookie stores only a two-letter country code, it reflects the preference you chose rather than where you are, and it stays on your device. We rely on our legitimate interest in honoring the UI preferences you actively set (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) / UK GDPR equivalent) and treat this cookie as strictly necessary for the region-selection feature you requested. Data retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

International data transfers

SignalOdds operates globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ. We take reasonable steps to safeguard transfers.

Your choices

• Access, update, or delete your account information.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.
• Clear this Service’s site data in your browser to remove the cookie and everything we store on your device.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
